You should be now have received an email confirming whether your abstract or poster has been accepted. If you have not yet received confirmation, please contact d4hmelbourne@icms.com.au
If you are presenting a paper at the conference, the next step is to submit your final revised version of your 1000 word abstract – please see Proceedings below for details of what to do next.

It is a requirement that the nominated presenter of all successful abstract submissions is registered to attend the Conference. Please register now to secure your place in the conference program and proceedings. Please contact d4hmelbourne@icms.com.au for the registration closing date.

Proceedings
Proceedings (in the form of an online single PDF file) of The D4H Conference Proceedings of peer reviewed scholarly 1000 word extended abstracts of papers presented at the conference will be made available on d4hmelbourne.com on 8th December. The Proceedings will also be added to the Design4Health publications archive at www.design4health.org.uk/publications
Please submit your final 1000-word extended abstract to dbarron@swin.edu.au (CC kseemann@swin.edu.au and d4hmelbourne@icms.com.au) by Wednesday 22 November, ensuring that you include all of the following:
- Name of nominated presenter
- All author details, affiliations and countries
- Title of paper
- Keywords
- Full text – including any revisions requested by reviewers
- References (please use style Chicago – http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html)
- British English
- Please remove end-note/citation field coding by converting copy of the paper to plain text/RTF before submitting.
250 word summaries of papers for oral presentation will be made available in the smart device app provided to registered delegates. These will be available before the start of the conference.
Journal papers
The editors of Design for Health journal, published by Taylor & Francis, will be at the conference and will invite a selection of presenters to develop their papers into full length (5000 to 7000 word) journal articles for publication in the journal. We will be on hand at the conference if you would like an informal chat with a member of the editorial team about publishing your work in Design for Health; please contact Kirsty Christer at designforhealth@shu.ac.uk for more details.
Presenting your work
Abstracts accepted for an oral presentation will be delivered as:
- traditional 20 minute academic presentations (15 mins plus 5 mins for questions), or
- Pecha Kucha 20×20 presentation format where 20 images are shown, each for 20 seconds. The speaker spends twenty seconds talking about each slide.
