Design for life and for living

Established by Lab4Living in 2011, Design4Health is an international conference that brings together designers and creative practitioners with researchers, clinicians, policy makers and users to discuss, disseminate and test their approaches and methods.

Our events provide an opportunity to reflect on how the disciplines of Design and Health might develop new ways of thinking and working, and how we might impact positively and sustainably on the social, economic and cultural factors within our communities and beyond.

Lab4Living is a trans-disciplinary research group established in 2007 at Sheffield Hallam University based on a collaborative community of researchers in design, healthcare and creative practices. Lab4Living works to address real world issues that impact on health and wellbeing, developing products, services and interventions that promote dignity and enhance quality of life.
