Objective
- To identify the range and responsibilities of nurse consultants in acute hospital and primary care trusts in South Yorkshire
Informal interviews were held with the Chief Nurses in the participating organisations to identify their nurse consultant posts and gather information about their roles, responsibilities and activities. In addition, informal meetings were held with the nurse consultants in the participating organisations to explore their roles in order to collate the sampling frame for the forthcoming case studies.
