Compilation of the toolkit/guidance
Objectives
- To develop a comprehensive 'toolkit' of strategies and measurement tools to assist nurse consultants to manage the quality of care they provide and demonstrate their impact.
- To establish the utility of the toolkit with a wider population of nurse consultants.
The individual toolkits developed and tested out in the previous stage were synthesised into a composite toolkit and accompanying guidance to assist nurse consultants to capture evidence to demonstrate their impact. To establish the utility of this toolkit/guidance a wider consultation via focus groups and email feedback was undertaken with the remaining nurse consultants in the participating organisations and other relevant individuals (e.g. the project advisory group). Following validation, the toolkit was further refined prior to publication.
