Conference networking dinner – Thursday 4th July
We are excited to announce a special location for this year’s conference dinner. A coach will take delegates from the conference venue through the industrial heartlands of Sheffield to MAGNA Science and Adventure Centre, a former steelworks which employed 10,000 people in its heyday and manufactured steel products to be shipped around the world. The steelworks closed in 1993 but the vast original building has been largely preserved as a monument to its industrial heritage. During the evening, delegates will be treated to ‘The Big Melt’, an awesome re-creation of the steel-making process.
