📢 ISAK Course Fee Update from January 2027

To continue delivering high-quality ISAK training while reflecting changes to external costs, some of our course and accreditation fees will increase for courses starting from 1 January 2027.

This update is driven primarily by the increase in ISAK membership and accreditation fees, alongside rising operational costs associated with course delivery, inflation, and the increased value of the participant vouchers we provide to the volunteer models who support our practical sessions. Anyone who has completed an ISAK course or assessment will know that our models play a vital role in the learning experience, and the vouchers they receive are thoroughly deserved.

We remain committed to transparency in our pricing. Course fees continue to include:

    • ISAK membership registration
    • Digital ISAK manual royalty fee
    • Physical ISAK manual
    • Lunch and refreshments
    • Full course tuition and assessment

Despite these increases, we continue to offer some of the most affordable ISAK courses in the UK. We are especially proud that SHU staff, students, and alumni rates remain heavily subsidised. In fact, these fees are set purely to cover direct costs such as equipment, consumables, facilities, catering, and ISAK-related charges. We do not generate income from SHU staff, student, or alumni bookings and continue to deliver these places on a cost-recovery basis to support our learning community.

We understand that any price increase can be disappointing, so we aim to be completely open about how fees are calculated. If you would like further information about the changes or how course fees are structured, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Updated course fees for January 2027 onwards can be found here and on the SHU Online Store.

Thank you for your continued support of our ISAK training programmes and the wider anthropometry community.
