Call for papers: PhD During COVID-19

Design For Health journal

Design For Health is an international refereed journal covering all aspects of design in the context of health and wellbeing. The Journal is published three times a year and provides a global forum for researchers, educators, practitioners and policy makers who work at the intersections of design, health, science, creative practice, wellbeing and related fields.

The Journal aims to publish thought-provoking work based on rigorous research, practice and perspectives.

It invites high quality, original submissions that make a contribution to knowledge and practice in the context of the design of interventions, products and services that positively impact on health and healthcare, promote dignity, and enhance quality of life in a range of settings.

Subscribe now for cutting edge research in this fast expanding area of research. Subscriptions available for print and online editions, and in a pack with The Design Journal.

Submit

We invite the following submission types:

  • Standard articles of between 5,000 and 7,000 words.
  • Book / Exhibition Review Articles of 1500 to 2000 words of relevant books, exhibitions or events.
  • Visual Essays of up to 2000 words.
  • Project Report / Case Studies describing current practice, of 2000 to 5000 words.

N.b. all word counts include all text, including References, tables, captions and biographies. Check website for other submission types.
