EFQM Education Community of Practice
23-24 October 2003, Eurocontrol, Brussels
This meeting took place at the impressive headquarters of Eurocontrol in Brussels. The meeting was held jointly with the TRIS (Transnationale Institionele Samenwerking) network, which is a group of Flemish speaking Universities in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The meeting attracted over 60 delegates from 12 countries including Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland and Vietnam. Jos Kuij Per and his colleague Patrick Lynam from the Eurocontrol Group for Excellence kindly hosted the event. The meeting was also hosted by Hans Baeyens and his colleagues from the Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen who introduced us to two Flemish Higher Education Networks that are using the Excellence Model in different forms.
The theme of the meeting was Self-assessment Practice and Networking Effectiveness and there were a number of excellent presentations on experiences and best practice. Delegates were also involved in positive group work and networking. The meeting included presentations from:
