After studying Molecular Biology and Physiology at the Faculty for Natural Sciences, University of Belgrade, I moved to the United Kingdom and completed an MA and MPhil/PhD at University of London.

After some fourteen years at University of Surrey as a researcher and lecturer, I took a new role at Sheffield Hallam as a research fellow for MERI and as the research network coordinator for Engineering for Life.

I have experience with a number of interdisciplinary projects as well as in international coordination and a range of experiences on European Commission funded projects.
