ROBORDER -autonomous swarm of heterogeneous RObots for BORDER surveillance

ROBORDER is a three-year, EU H2020 funded project that aims to develop an intelligent holistic solution for the patrolling and protection of EU borders by  considering the heterogeneity of threats, the wideness of the surveyed area, the adverse weather conditions and the wide range of terrains that may be encountered. ROBORDER aims to develop and demonstrate a fully-functional autonomous border surveillance system that provides complete and detailed situational awareness picture  to border authorities. ROBORDER will develop new tools using data relayed from multimodal sensors on unmanned mobile robots including aerial, water surface, underwater and ground vehicles that will operate both alone and as a swarm, and from static networked sensors.
