Small Project Fund – Round 2

The FlexFund is open to current AHP WRaP partnership institutions, with external partners welcome as co-investigators or subcontractors.

• Closing Date: Mon 12 January 2026 (5pm)
• Max budget per project: £10k

Applications are now open for the second round of the AHP WRaP FlexFund, supporting innovative projects that address AHP workforce challenges and development in line with AHP WRaP’s current FlexFund priorities. These are:

• Addressing rural and coastal themes;
• Focusing on smaller or underrepresented professions within AHP research and AHP WRaP activities
• Exploring topics that align with the NHS 10-year Plan and/or are strongly positioned to address anticipated issues highlighted in the forthcoming NHS Workforce Plan.

Applicants can request up to £10,000 for direct project costs, including consumables, travel, equipment, meetings, training, open access, and staffing. Funding will be awarded at 80% FEC.

Complementary Activities Fund

• Max budget per application: £2k
• Apply any time

Our Complementary Activities fund is for requests for resources that support existing AHP WRaP projects, groups, or work packages. Max request is £2k per application. Funding can be used to cover consumables, travel and subsistence, equipment, meeting costs, open access, training and development.
