I’m excited to be recruiting for a Technical Specialist to join our UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship project Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC)<\/strong><\/span><\/a> at Sheffield Hallam University.<\/p>\n

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of new body measurement methods to assess children’s health, working as part of a multidisciplinary research team using innovative measurement technologies and research approaches. The role is 0.6 FTE (22.2 hours per week) and funded for three years through UKRI.<\/p>\n

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about supporting high-quality research. Experience in research data collection, equipment management, data quality assurance, and working with children or participants from diverse backgrounds would be particularly valuable. More so, experience in anthropometry<\/span> \/ DEXA<\/span> \/ body composition<\/span>\/ deuterium dilution<\/span> \/ blood sampling<\/span> – but not essential as training will be provided on the specific methods and technologies used within the project.<\/p>\n
