{"id":189,"date":"2023-12-04T11:07:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-04T11:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.shu.ac.uk\/shusize\/?p=189"},"modified":"2024-04-04T12:49:28","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T11:49:28","slug":"dr-alice-bullas-researcher-awarded-prestigious-future-leaders-fellowship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.shu.ac.uk\/shusize\/2023\/12\/04\/dr-alice-bullas-researcher-awarded-prestigious-future-leaders-fellowship\/","title":{"rendered":"NEWS: Dr Alice Bullas researcher awarded prestigious Future Leaders Fellowship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Sheffield Hallam University morphology researcher, Dr Alice Bullas, been awarded a \u00a31.6m Future Leaders Fellowship from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)\u00a0to develop new body measurement methods for children living with obesity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alice has been recognised as one of the most promising science and research leaders in the UK, securing one of 75 fellowships announced today (Monday 4 December).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fellowship will fund a five-year study to identify the most accurate and suitable ways to assess the health of children, with a focus on childhood obesity.
