The Journal is published three times a year and provides a global forum for researchers, educators, practitioners and policy makers who work at the intersections of design, health, science, creative practice, wellbeing and related fields.<\/p>\n<p>The Journal aims to publish thought-provoking work based on rigorous research, practice and perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>It invites high quality, original submissions that make a contribution to knowledge and practice in the context of the design of interventions, products and services that positively impact on health and healthcare, promote dignity, and enhance quality of life in a range of settings.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Design for Health\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/loi\/rfdh20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Design for Health<\/em><\/a> is the official journal of the Design4Health conference and publishes selected papers from each conference.<\/p>\n<p>The latest published papers are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/toc\/rfdh20\/current\">available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Subscribe<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/pricing\/journal\/rfdh20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Subscribe now<\/a>\u00a0for cutting edge research in this fast expanding area of research. Subscriptions available for print and online editions, and in a pack with The Design Journal.<\/p>\n<h2>Submit<\/h2>\n<p>We invite the following submission types:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Standard articles <\/strong>of between 5,000 and 7,000 words.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Book \/ Exhibition Review Articles<\/strong>\u00a0of 1500 to 2000 words of relevant books, exhibitions or events.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visual Essays<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>of up to 2000 words.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project Report \/ Case Studies<\/strong> describing current practice, of 2000 to 5000 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>N.b. all word counts include all text, including References, tables, captions and biographies.
