The work critically examines the purpose and practice of therapeutic activities for people with dementia; ethical issues involved in creative research; and the representation of people with dementia in artworks. The work also frames existential problems, questioning whether, even with the best will, care, communication and empathy are always possible.<\/p>\n<p>This live work is by Becky Shaw and involves a team of readers who all work or study in care-related professions: Claire Lee, Kate Moore, Ellen Kirby, Claire Mayne and Laura Cox.
