Samuel Heyes

Samuel has a a background in communications, security threats, and countering violent extremism having graduated with a BA in Sociology & Criminology from Manchester Metropolitan University and an MA in International Security & Terrorism from the University of Nottingham. With a passionate interest in countering violent extremism and emerging security threats, Samuel has developed expertise in online and offline security threats both in the UK and abroad. Samuel has previously worked as an Analyst for Mythos Labs – a strategic communications firm which harnesses the power of technology and entertainment to counter violent extremism and disinformation.

Currently, Samuel is a researcher within the Centre of Excellence in Terrorism, Resilience, Intelligence and Organised Crime Research (CENTRIC) working on the 7Shield and AQUA3s projects.
