Nikolai gained a BSc degree in Computer System and Technologies and MSc in Big Data Analytics. Currently, he is a PhD student at CENTRIC with focus on machine learning applications to combat disinformation, fake news in security context. At the moment, one of Nikolai’s main interests is preventing dissemination of conspiracy theories that are prone to radicalisation.
His professional background includes several years as an Automation Test Engineer at one of the biggest European telecommunication companies. Since 2020 Nikolai has worked as a Data Scientist and developed his skills in creating data-driven software products.
