Prof Julie Nightingale <\/strong>Julie Nightingale is Professor of Diagnostic Imaging Education at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) and is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE). She is an Honorary Editor and former Editor-in-Chief of the journal Radiography<\/em>. She is leading the Research Excellence Framework submission at SHU for UoA3 (Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy) health) and is a national UoA3 panel member for the REF2029 assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\nJulie is active in the Centre for Applied Health and Social Care Research (CARe), where she supervises several PhD students and leads the Health and Social Care Workforce Research theme. She led the recently completed NIHR funded \u2018I-SWAP\u2019 study which explored the deployment of Imaging Support Workers and Assistant Practitioners at a national level. She is now leading the Allied Health Professions Workforce Research Partnership (AHP WRaP), a five-year NIHR funded study which incorporates partners from South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East of England. She was awarded the Silver Medal of the Society and College of Radiographers for services to radiography publishing. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Prof George Peat<\/strong>George is Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and Director of the Centre for Applied Health & Social Care Research (CARe) in the School of Health & Social Care at Sheffield Hallam University. A chartered physiotherapist, trained in public health and epidemiology, his specific research interest is in improving the prevention and management of common musculoskeletal pain conditions. He has led and contributed to applied research programmes and projects funded by awards from NIHR, UKRI, Versus Arthritis, and Nuffield Foundation. He is passionate about supporting research opportunities and careers for under-represented health and social care professionals.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Prof Ruth Strudwick<\/strong>Ruth is Head of Allied Health Professions and Professor in Diagnostic Radiography in the School of Health Sciences and Society at the University of Suffolk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ruth is a Diagnostic Radiographer by background. She has been a Lecturer since 2003, and before that worked as Clinical Lecturer at The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust and as a Diagnostic Radiographer at The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ruth completed her professional doctorate in 2011 entitled ‘An ethnographic study of the culture in a Diagnostic Imaging Department’. She continues to be research active and her funded research focuses on radiography professional practice and education, and on service evaluation.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
