Presenting at Karolinska Institutet

Joe Langley and Dan Wolstenholm presented examples of their work with and in association with Lab4Living, Sheffield Hallam University, the UK National Institute of Health Research funded CLAHRC YH and other partners.

Over the last six years there has been a systematic exploration of the potential and impact of design theory and practice in healthcare. In a series of multidisciplinary projects designers, engineers, patients, carers and clinicians have worked together to deliver better health and social care through design.
Dan and Joe presented projects that have spanned a full range of design practice and explored the wider impact of design and design thinking in healthcare.
