Chlamydia testing awareness

Amy is a PhD student with a background in psychology. She is based in the Public Health Department of the School of Health and Related Research at The University of Sheffield.

Amy’s’ PhD is exploring the issues of Chlamydia testing amongst teenagers; raising awareness, de-stigmatising and increasing testing uptake as a means of preventing the spread of Chlamydia.

Information was compiled by Amy that required graphic design input to allow clear and visually appealing presentation to the target market. It was agreed that a ‘Social media’ style presentation would be perfect for the target audience. In total there are 5 case study posters and one information flow chart.
Once particular issue for this project was the issue of anonymity within any images used. Our team took care to use images that did not clearly identify individuals.
Following feedback from the initial designs the concept was developed through to final print ready artwork. The final work presents the information clearly in a format that appeals to the target audience. The case studies work well as a set or individually and the social networking theme ties in well with the anonymity theme.
