Aims & Objectives

The principle aim of ESP-NET (Electrochemical Scanning Probe Network) is to bring together a multi-disciplinary, inter-industry, inter-academic group who will address specific issues and disseminate experiences and knowledge for the purposes of understanding this new technique along with their limitation and potential application. Further aims and objectives are to evaluate and document ESP activities; to identify complimentary group activities using ESP techniques with respect to; theory/modelling, experimentation, applications, data interpretation and standardisation; to establish a framework for interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration to evaluate the information derived from ESP techniques: lay down communication lines for academia and industry to disseminate  information by means of conferences, technical papers and workshops etc. and to encourage European partner collaboration/contributions
