The Centre for Sustainable Consumption was established in 1996 to respond to the need for greater understanding of issues relating to the environmental impact of consumption.
Our research focuses on consumer behaviour and the environmental impact of household goods.
The Centre has an international reputation for research relating to the life span of household goods and hosts the Network on Product Life Spans.
